Chess Media Group
Chess Media Group came to us as a brand new business startup that was looking to get their business online. We worked with their team to identify the core idea of the website and how its visitors will use the website to accomplish their goals.
We decided to build the website on top of the WordPress Content Management system so Chess Media Group could update the content often. We would integrate a Services Page, an About Us Page, Our Work page, Blog , News and Contact Form.
Each of these pages would be built with a specific goal in mind which is to enhance to visibility of the brand through the website.
We chose a two column layout as a majority of the content was to be included on every page. We chose to organize the right column as Search, Newsletter, Books, and Facebook. Users will be able to navigate the site quickly and efficiently when finding what they are looking for.
The subpages are all content managed pages allowing Chess Media group to add and remove content easily without incurring additional costs.
We also chose to take advantage of the WordPress built in blogging functionality to allow the website to breathe and speak. This will serve as the voice of the company and be the main content driver of the website. When planning this page we wanted to maximize the amount of viral components used. We took advantage of the TweetMeme plugin as well as the share-this plugin to allow the maximum amount of social sharing with the most minimal design interruption.
